My CNG Car

Most of us have grown around cars! Being able to go on a vacation, to travel to another city or just go grocery shopping in the city is important and a car gives us a lot of flexibility.

As we are becoming more and more environmentally conscious, we are looking at solutions that help us travel in a sustainable way, yet keeping this flexibility. CNG is one of the sustainable options today to help us achieve this exact goal.

In the sections below, you will find answers to some of the more commonly asked questions when it comes to personal mobility with CNG and how it could be effectively used already today.

Fuelling a CNG car is very simple and takes around 4 mins to fuel from empty to full.

We have covered this topic in a lot more detail in this article.

The short answer is that it depends.

If your car is a “retro-fit” – meaning that you have converted a regular petrol car into a CNG after purchasing the car, then you would have the CNG tank in the trunk of your car, therefore, this is going to reduce the space you have there.

If, however, you purchase your car directly from the car maker as a CNG model, then the CNG tank will be engineered and placed accordingly, out of sight and not occupying the available car space for passengers and their luggage.

Full list of available CNG vehicles could be found in the NGVA Vehicle Catalogue Brochure

Nowadays, there are dozens of models available on CNG – from small city cars, through bigger luxyry cars, but also vans, buses and trucks.

You can find more information in the NGVA Vehicle Catalogue Brochure

The information about the emission from your next car has to be provided by the seller in the case that you are purchasing it new. If the car is a second-hand, such information would be included in the technical documents and specifications that come with the car.
